From Pat Turley, VP of Corporate Strategy and Chairman of the Board,
First, happy holidays from everyone here at Ball Systems! Honestly, it feels like just yesterday that Andy Caine and I took the reins when we acquired Ball Systems back in 2006. I still marvel at how far we’ve come since Dr. Irvin Ball first founded the company back in 1966.
An announcement: after many wonderful, inspiring years as President, I have decided to step into more focused roles that can better serve our future. Andy is taking the reins as Ball Systems' new President, while I concentrate my efforts on the long-term vision of the company as VP of Corporate Strategy and continuing my governance role as Chairman of the Board.
This transition will allow me to focus on setting the course for Ball Systems, while placing all operational responsibilities firmly in Andy’s exceptionally capable hands.
This is a moment of immense pride and genuine enthusiasm for the future. I wanted to share a few thoughts on what makes Ball Systems so special and why I’m excited for this next phase under Andy’s leadership.
The heart of Ball Systems has always been about solving tough problems - together. We’ve built relationships based on trust and a shared commitment to quality. Put simply. we believe in being truthful and honoring our commitments in everything we do, which is how we've operated since day one.
You come to us to help solve your most complex needs, whether it’s for aerospace, defense, automotive, life-saving medical devices, and more. Ball Systems’ core strength is our ability to deliver custom, high-quality testing systems and electronics manufacturing solutions. As experts at taking sophisticated engineering specifications and translating them into reliable hardware, we flawlessly execute and manufacture the solutions you need. In essence, Ball Systems is your dedicated pit crew, making sure you cross the finish line faster and stronger.
The difference-maker here at Ball Systems isn't the specification sheets - it's our people. Our engineers and technicians are the most dedicated, brilliant problem-solvers you could ask for, approaching every project with the mindset of an owner, always looking out for your long-term interests and the best possible outcomes.
They ensure every component, cable, and connection is manufactured and integrated with precision. We take a lot of pride in our process because it’s built on taking full responsibility for our work and maintaining open communication from start to finish and beyond. Keeping you informed and ensuring the final, integrated system we deliver meets your exact requirements, built to the highest standards, is our bread and butter. That sense of care and deep commitment is the Ball Systems spirit.
The world of technology is moving fast, and we have our collective running shoes on, ready to sprint ahead. In my new Corporate Strategy role, I'll be directing our efforts to optimize our processes, systems, and team effectiveness. The goal is to strengthen our partnerships, build new, dynamic relationships, and staying focused on quality.
We are also expanding our marketing efforts to help build those new relationships. All of this is driven by our belief that excellence is found in the ordinary, like the small details we get right every single day. We are always striving to be better today than we were yesterday.
I have the utmost confidence in Andy and the team to keep Ball Systems at the forefront of testing systems and electronics manufacturing, all while maintaining the personalized, hands-on service you’ve come to expect.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing Ball Systems to be a part of your success story. I’m excited for this new, focused approach and incredibly confident in Andy and the entire team to continue building on this strong foundation, carrying forward a legacy that began in 1966.
I look forward to seeing all the amazing things Ball Systems will achieve next. Let's keep making great things happen. Happy holidays and Happy New Year!
Warmly,
Pat Turley
