This functional tester is designed to help measure three different types of aerospace products. Depending on which product is being tested, the functional tester can use various voltages and current outputs. 

This tester was a first-time build that needed engineering assistance and approvals along the way. 

When mounting the equipment to the bottom of the enclosure, Ball Systems discovered that several of the called-out standoffs and screws were the incorrect size and would not work. The Project Engineer took the initiative to find the correct hardware and informed the customer to receive their approval. 

Ball Systems engineers also discovered the called-out holes for two of the LEDs on the front panel were incorrect due to the manufacturing datasheet.  The Project Engineer was able to research and find an LED that would fit in the pre-drilled holes with the clients approval. 

All in all, the customer was very satisfied with the product and the help and transparency throughout the build.
