A major aerospace and defense company required build-to-print manufacturing of a calibrator for LVDT and RVDT measurement devices. The RVDT and LVDT calibrator is utilized in an aircraft ground support testing capacity. A linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) is a type of electrical transducer that measures linear displacement, and a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT) is a type of electrical transformer used for measuring angular displacement. Since the last production of this build-to-print calibrator, multiple parts have become obsolete, so our team worked extensively with one of our customer’s engineers to identify replacements for each part.
