An international aerospace and defense company’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Group requested manufacturing of a now outdated cable assembly design. The last production of this build-to-print assembly was completed in 2004, so several parts had become obsolete. Additionally, the unit must now be CE compliant, so production processes and part selection required modification including RoHS Compliance. Our team worked extensively with multiple client sites to ensure that these prints were properly updated and met all of the requirements for electronics testing. Reflective of the company’s requirements, the system also includes a multi-tiered switch and multi-spliced cables.
