The CADM LO ECU Dual Test fixtures are built to test Engine Control Units (ECUs) to ensure their functionality during their production. The ECUs are placed in a sled and the sled slides forward, mating the ECU with the probe blocks in the fixture. The test fixture performs a test to ensure that the ECU is functioning properly, and the fixture then slides back, and the ECU can be replaced with a new one. The CADM LO ECU Dual Test fixture can simultaneously test two ECUs at once, speeding up the testing process.
This build-to-print project leverages Virginia Panel Company interconnect solutions and Keyence Corporation components to deliver a robust, high-throughput testing solution for the automotive industry. The dual-station design maximizes production efficiency by allowing continuous ECU testing while operators load and unload units at alternating stations.
Ball Systems designs, develops, and delivers custom test systems and produces comprehensive build-to-print systems for companies creating or manufacturing critical electronic or electro-mechanical components for automotive, aerospace and defense and consumer appliance applications.
