Professional Life

After graduating from Manchester University, Andy spent the first part of his accounting career in public accounting pursing his CPA license. During this time, he attended the University of Notre Dame for some post graduate accounting classes. He then moved into the corporate world and was responsible for Allied Signal’s ($11 billion top Fortune 30 company) Aerospace Engine Controls Division manufacturing budgets. Andy has also been a controller for two divisions of a multi-national plastic manufacturing company. Immediately prior to purchasing Ball Systems, Andy served as a business development pricing analyst for Hewlett-Packard.

Andy and Pat purchased Ball Systems in 2006 and never looked back. The first thing on the to-do list for Andy and Pat was an aggressive push in diversifying and expanding Ball Systems' customer base, market segmentation and geographical footprint. That push for diversification saw great success, growing the company more than 20% per year.

Andy was a 10 year 4-H Member exhibiting livestock in Marshall County and was the Marshall County 4-H King. He was also the co-captain of his high school wrestling team. Andy played division three college football for Hanover College.

Andy and his wife, Heather, have an 11-year-old daughter and a three-year old Snoodle named Boo. Any spare time that he may have, he spends with them. He knows that this time is precious to spend with his daughter, so he is truly focusing on her until she doesn’t want to hang out with her dad anymore. Andy enjoys watching NCAA wrestling, playing golf, hunting and competitive archery. Growing up in north central Indiana, Andy grew up and is a dedicated Chicago Bears fan.
