Andy is a co-owner and serves as the Executive President and is responsible for all company operations including sales, marketing, finance, accounting, treasury, quality, process automation, production, and planning. He graduated from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. Andy also has his Certified Public Accountant license. Andy also oversees and manages all strategic financial analysis and planning. Andy produces a monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement for Ball Systems.
After graduating from Manchester University, Andy spent the first part of his accounting career in public accounting pursing his CPA license. During this time, he attended the University of Notre Dame for some post graduate accounting classes. He then moved into the corporate world and was responsible for Allied Signal’s ($11 billion top Fortune 30 company) Aerospace Engine Controls Division manufacturing budgets. Andy has also been a controller for two divisions of a multi-national plastic manufacturing company. Immediately prior to purchasing Ball Systems, Andy served as a business development pricing analyst for Hewlett-Packard.
Andy and Pat purchased Ball Systems in 2006 and never looked back. The first thing on the to-do list for Andy and Pat was an aggressive push in diversifying and expanding Ball Systems' customer base, market segmentation and geographical footprint. That push for diversification saw great success, growing the company more than 20% per year.
Andy was a 10 year 4-H Member exhibiting livestock in Marshall County and was the Marshall County 4-H King. He was also the co-captain of his high school wrestling team. Andy played division three college football for Hanover College.
Andy and his wife, Heather, have a 17-year-old daughter who is a Senior at the local High School. Any spare time that he may have, he spends with them. He knows that this time is precious to spend with his daughter, so he is truly focusing on her until she graduates and goes on to college. Andy enjoys watching NCAA wrestling, playing golf, hunting and competitive archery. Growing up in north central Indiana, Andy is a dedicated Chicago Bears fan.
Ball Systems designs, develops, and delivers custom test systems and produces comprehensive build-to-print systems for companies creating or manufacturing critical electronic or electro-mechanical components for automotive, aerospace and defense and consumer appliance applications.
