An international aerospace and defense manufacturer’s Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Group contracted Ball Systems for a build-to-print pressure sensor manufacturing project. During the build stage on this project, the customer directed a model change on the ordered part. An important aspect of this change was ensuring effective contact between Ball Systems and our customer to identify the changes, how this would affect the build schedule and the costs due to the change. Our team’s experience and our company focus on communication and flexibility made it possible for this last-minute change to be made and still successfully provide the pressure sensor ATP our customer needed.
