At Ball Systems, we believe that our values are critical to our own success, as well as our ability to effectively serve our customers. Each month during our all-hands company meeting we discuss two or three of our core values to help keep them top of mind for our team members. This week I want to focus on our “Marketplace Service” value, what it means to us as a company and how it positively impacts our customers.
What this means to us: If we serve others well, we won’t have to worry about money. This includes both our external and internal customers. If our focus is on serving our customers well, the rest will take care of itself. Team members who serve well will be recognized for their efforts, and Ball Systems will be as well. Serve well and work hard, and rewards will come.
What this means to our customers: Our tag line is to make the lives of our customer easier. Maintaining a servant’s attitude and approach is the most effective technique to accomplish this goal. Being a servant means setting aside personal goals and personal recognition for the betterment of the team and of the customer. This approach yields a collaborative organization that keeps its customer’s goals ahead of our own business and personal goals which in turn assures of our customers of our best efforts on their projects.
