At Ball Systems, we believe that our values are critical to our own success, as well as our ability to effectively serve our customers. Each month during our all-hands company meeting we discuss two or three of our core values to help keep them top of mind for our team members. This week I want to focus on our “Team” value, what it means to us as a company and how it positively impacts our customers.
What this means to us: We are members of a team, not employees. We strive and pull together to serve our customers. From the water-boy to the quarterback, all roles are critical, and we strive together to be better with each “play”. We recognize that our team’s success, and that of our customers, is dependent on our ability to work together seamlessly as we execute our playbook. We win or lose together.

We believe in a collaborative but accountable approach to our work. This spans both internal processes and also our interactions with our customers. We believe that each team member is important, and that no-one’s role is unimportant. We also recognize that sometimes we need to cover a challenging situation for a teammate. Sometimes this also means that we lean-in to assist our customer in an area they might be struggling with. We believe that when our customer wins, we win and when our customer loses, we lose. We are in it together.
