Company Value: Accountability

At Ball Systems, we believe that our values are critical to our own success, as well as our ability to effectively serve our customers. Each month during our all-hands company meeting we discuss two or three of our core values to help keep them top of mind for our team members. This week I want to focus on our “Accountability” value, what it means to us as a company and how it positively impacts our customers.

What this means to us: We honor commitments to our customers and to one another. I am responsible to accomplish my work, on-time, with quality. I realize that my customers, my co-workers, and the company depend on me doing what is expected of me. I will do what it takes to honor my commitments, even when it is uncomfortable or hard.

What this means to our customers: We don’t settle for excuses, so for our customers, accountability means that we strive to honor commitments we have made. We take responsibility to accomplish our work, on-time, with the highest quality possible. We recognize that our customers are counting on our solutions to be right and on-time, and because we’ve been in similar roles as our customers, we understand the importance (and impact) of doing what we say we’re going to do. We also recognize how important it is for a customer to have confidence that we’re going to come through. Our commitment is to do just that.
